SoftSenseHosting.Net Privacy Policy (SSHPP) ::
There are only one or two pages on this entire site where we kind of relax our writing tone and just say what's on our mind. This is one them - mainly because the issue of one's privacy is so absolutely important!
On our growing list of "Things We Absolutely Hate" we simply must put this issue at #2 at the very least - just after those SPAM idiots who send you 30 junk-messages every day and telemarketers who call at all hours of the night.
So what's the our #2 Most Hated Issue? ...Those long (30 pages, at least) legalese, small-print web pages, with titles like "Your Privacy Really Does Matter", or "We Really Really Care about Your Privacy"... which, after you spend more than an hour reading all the fine print and trying to decipher the lawyers' language, you find out the "policy" actually does NOTHING to protect your privacy. We're sick and tired of it.
Seems to us, a company shouldn't have the nerve (or any legal right) to include the word "Privacy" on any page if the content of that page actually says they can violate your privacy by selling your information to any of their "affiliated companies" (which means pretty much anyone who will send the company some money), or that you have every right of course to send a hand-written letter to some obscure department where no one actually works - asking for their permission to have your name removed (perhaps in the next 6 months, if you're lucky) from some list which was immediately distributed across the internet to hundreds of their "affiliated companies" anyway - just seconds after you signed up for their service.
So here's the Official SoftSenseHosting.Net Non-Legalese Privacy Policy which we use to try and prevent those telemarketeers from calling you (again) at exactly the very second you sit down to dinner or worse, before you've even had a chance to finish your first cup of coffee on what otherwise could have been a relaxing Saturday morning.... Are you ready? Here goes:
The short version:
We do not share or sell any type of personal data to anyone for any reason - other than if legally subpoenaed by a law enforcement agency or as required by some legal proceeding. Period.
The longer version:
  This web site collects standard, non-personal, non-sensitive, statistical data related to your visit here - like all Web sites do. This data does NOT have anything to do with your personal identity, and is only used for standard web-traffic analysis - which includes various types of reports that answer questions like "How many visitors did we get today?", "What percentage of our visitors use Internet Explorer", etc. This data also includes your IP Address (which is an identification number the Internet assigns to any computer connected to it). An IP Address is also a standard bit of data collected by all web servers, and is also used for security purposes (we log IPs mainly to help prevent credit card fraud, or abuse of any of our bulletin-board systems).
  We do not share or sell this data to anyone for any reason - other than if legally subpoenaed by law enforcement, or as required through some legal proceeding.
  When you use our online Contact forms, sign-up for a hosting plan, or subscribe to any (future) newsletter feature we may offer, we do not share or sell any information you provide us (like your e-mail address) to anyone for any reason - other than if legally subpoenaed by law enforcement, or as required through some legal proceeding.
  When you use the "e-mail this page" feature, or any feature that sends messages from this site to somewhere else, a copy of the message is sent to a separate SoftSenseHosting.Net mailbox which only the owner of this company can access. This information is not sold or shared with anyone for any reason - other than if legally subpoenaed by law enforcement, or as required through some legal proceeding.
  We do not store any of your credit card information on this site, except the last few digits displayed in your online invoice. We use third-party services to process our payment-transactions, and links to view their privacy policies are provided below. Also, your credit card company is responsible, and generally provides complete reimbursement for any losses that may results from hackers or theft.
PayPal's Privacy Policy is available at:

  If you participate in any online chat or group-activity which is directly connected to this site (SoftSenseHosting.Net), YOU are responsible for your own conduct - but just know that (again) we do not share, sell or distribute any personal information for any reason. In cases like this, we would provide guidelines related to the group activity, but if you don't follow the rules, you'll get booted out of the group if we catch you. You also need to be careful, just in case someone else out there is determined to take advantage of something you reveal while online. So, to make a long story short, ..and it's really not too late to do that, ...we won't share any private information, but you should also be careful not to tell strangers your name, personal or contact-info, or locale-related details either. Just be careful out there people.
  SoftSenseHosting.Net provides hosting services to other companies for their own web sites, and we may also happen to include links to other sites on the Web in our various content pages and articles - but (1.) we likely do not have any affiliation with these web sites and in any case (2.) they do not have any access to our customer data (nor do we theirs). In short, we have no control over any other web site's policies, so a good general rule is to check out the privacy policy on ANY site you're visiting if, at any point, you're asked to provide any personal information.
  This site does use "cookies" in some areas to remember a few bits of data that make your browsing experience easier and more enjoyable. But (1.) none of our cookies contain any personal information, and (2.) you're free to block any cookies you want (but in some cases, you might receive an error message (as in your account Control Panel) which may ask you to enable or accept cookies in that particular area).
  We display ad-banners across our site, but we serve these banners ourselves. We do not use outside advertising distributors which collect information about you, nor do we use any sort of "tracking" cookies related to advertising.
  We will never change this privacy policy. The only kind of updates we might make to this page would be to, for example, provide links to the privacy policies of our payment processors, display other useful and related information or to just spend more time discussing those dirty rat telemarketers and spammers. :)
